Bejeweled

Tammy & Bernie's E-Session
The Boat Basin, Englewood, NJ

We brought Tammy and Bernie down to the fort in the Englewood Boat Basin for some evening engagement photos. During the session, we noticed Tammy's sparkling pink engagement ring. It reminded us of a news story we read about the sweetest engagement we'd ever heard about. Turns out, we had read the story of their engagement a few months earlier (even left a comment on Bernie's blog)!

The short story... Bernie hacked and reprogrammed Tammy's Nintendo DS and altered her version of Bejeweled so that when she reached a certain score, the screen would clear and a pink sapphire ring would fall from the sky. He then proposed with a beautiful pink engagement ring.

Thank you Brooke and Steven! You made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and guided us through the unfamiliar territory of being photographed as a couple. We enjoyed the session and are excited to use the engagement photos for a guest book so everyone coming to our wedding can share in these wonderful pictures.

okay, not only am I SMITTEN with the story (not that I welcome hackers, but that's just so romantic! an ALTRUISTIC hacker -- don't see that every day!) but the images are beautiful. very nice work!
