Austin's Bar Mitzvah
Edgewood Country Club, Rivervale, NJ
When Austin throws a party, he does so in style! His Bar Mitzvah celebration at Edgewood Country Club in Rivervale, New Jersey was nothing short of spectacular! The theme for his big day was Austin's Underwater Adventure and as you'll see shortly in my second installment... filled with fish, fantasy & fun!
We loved all the little details... one of our favorite highlights was that instead of traditional place cards, the kids received boarding passes to Austin's Voyage. The cake was a killer cruise ship (detailed down to the pool on deck), the tables had creative names like "Capt. Jack Sparrow's Crew" and "Elizabeth Swann's Spa," the candy bar was filled with gummy fish and blueberry sharks... and that was only part of the fun. Cocktail hour and reception boasted a taro reader, a henna artist, photo favors, casino games, airbrushed t-shirts and a packed dance floor. Of course, what cruise to adventure would be complete without "Captain Stubbing" acting as MC at the helm?
On a more serious note, we enjoyed celebrating such a momentous day in Austin's life with him and his family. He did a great job when called to the torah. This is one ship shape kiddo!
