'Neath Stormy Skies
Stephanie & Michael's Wedding
Brooklake Country Club, Florham Park, NJ
If we could give an award to for the most memorable ceremony ever, Stephanie & Michael would
win, hands down. Summer thunderstorms can be unpredictable (at best) and there was much discussion and concern as to whether it might start to pour during the outdoor ceremony. In a last minute decision, the couple opted to stick with the original plans and wed underneath questionable skies. While the rain kept at bay, the scene was sooo dramatic with the dark rolling clouds and lightening on the horizon.
Brooklake Country Club was the perfect setting, for a beautiful wedding. We loved the couple's little personal touches... the framed family photos by the entranceway, the escort cards sitting on peat grass, the custom made card box, the lush green and orange centerpieces, the heirloom cake topper & chocolate truffles served with dessert. Stephanie looked stunning in her vintage birdcage veil (and Michael was looking rather dapper in brown pinstripes). The band (White Light by Stan Allen) was excellent and kept the the dancefloor packed! What a great wedding for these two lovebirds.
